My Fitness Pal

I've been on My Fitness Pal for quite a few months. There appears to be a lot of us mommy bloggers out there that... well, have it too! I would love for you to leave me your username's or your names you go by on the site. I would love to be friends with you and we can motivate and hold each other accountable.

Please leave me your Account name in my comments, I can't wait to have you as my friend on My Fitness Pal.

In just one week of actually counting my calories and watching what I'm eating and working out 3X a day. I've lost 4 pounds.

I love how easy it is to document and keep track. If you haven't joined My Fitness Pal, you have to join now.

My User Name: MountainMum

Add me as your friend and we can motivate and keep each other on track.

If you are new to my fitness pal, then you have to go and check it out. You can track all of your food, exercise and water intake for the day. It's a one stop shop.

For you smartphone users there is an app you can download and have it on the go with you. It really is awesome. I hope to see you on there soon.

McFatty Monday: Isagenix Week #3

Weight loss is one of those things that just takes work. I recently, meaning last Thursday, had my IUD removed. I think this was one of the many contributors to not being able to loose that much weight and only pounds at a time. Ever since I've had it removed I feel so much better physically and emotionally. However, I've been more tired then normal the last 4 days and kinda in la la land sort to speak.

It's amazing how messed up your body gets when hormones are taken away. I feel just odd a little bit the last few days but that is ok.

Also, this week I've felt inspired. I have two favorite McFatty Post blogs I love to read.

The Heir to Blair - Blair is so honest about herself and her Journey. Love, Love her.

Mom-Nom - Tiffany has been on a system called Medifast for 14 weeks and has almost lost 50 pounds! She is truly an inspiration and OMGeeee she is looking good ladies. Pop on over to her blog and see how she is doing it.

Weight loss to Date 8.4 pounds

Weight left to loose 56.6 pounds left

Set backs for me this week are getting my IUD pulled feeling out of whack and my emotions all over the place. My stomach has been bloated and uncomfortable since last Thursday.

However, I visited the gym this week 3 times. I trained on the elipitcal and treadmill at the gym and an extra run after dinner one night a mile and half.

This week I burned 1,300 calories from 3 days at the gym and a 1.5 mile run.

I'm so pumped this week and cannot wait until next week. I'm planning on hitting the gym 5 days this week.

Isagenix Week #2

First of all I'm sorry for the late post, I've been so stinking busy.

Things are getting easier and easier and I'm sticking to it. You know when things just click, they just CLICK!!

I've been going to the gym the last week every week day on my lunch. I would love to enter in on a saturday, but maybe I should make it a non-gym workout day and to a run, long walk with Mack, or soon very soon... swimming.

Cuz Bra's and Gal's it's getting warm here in Northern California. Finally.

In a way this week has been tough because I haven't gotten the results on the scale that I wanted and that is ok. Because I've been going to the gym and I regaining muscle, so their are times when the scale with go up and down when you add working out and weights into the mix. Maybe I will hold off on the weights and just do all cardio for the next 2 weeks. Actually, that is what I'm going to do.

Here is the run down Bloggeee's.

Total Weight loss this week 2.6 Pounds!

Weight Loss so far: 7.26 pounds
Weight left to loose 52.7 pounds

20 Pounds (April 20th)
30 Pounds (May 20th)
40 Pounds

McFatty Monday - Week #1

After epic fail after epic fail. This week has been super positive. This first week of any new thing, whether it's dieting, going to the gym, new yoga class... it can be hard. If you can make it through 7 days/week and you are still yet determined there is really nothing keeping you from stopping. Well sometimes..

This week was awesome. I'm using a cleanse and weight loss system called Isagenix. Heard of it? It is such an amazing product. They make it so easy for you. I love the way it makes you feel and the my natural energy that has been restored.

I'm an energy drink junky. The bull. That's right the red bull. It sings sweet, sweet music to me everytime I'm even anywhere near it. I can't help it, I can't resist, it gets me at my weakest point and then done deal I bought a can.

So I've avoided going into stores and going anywhere near that specific fridge... and I don't even make contact with bull. It sounds stupid, but this is how bad my addiction is to those things.

Drum Roll Please....

After one week I released 5 pounds!!

Weight Loss so far: 5 pounds
Weight left to loose 55 pounds

Goals:
10 Pounds (April 1st)
20 Pounds (Reward: Free Dinner night)
30 Pounds (???)
40 Pounds (New outfit)
50 Pounds (Sushi)
60 Pounds ( Shop Spree)

Are you participating in any kinds of weight loss or health goals?

McFatty Monday - Week #1

Successful week thus far. Sorry for the late in the day post. Never did get around to writing this post up on Sunday. Starting over and the first week is the hardest. You have to challenge yourself to stick with something and it can be hard when life just get's the way.

I read this post by heir to blair blog. She has the best blog and I enjoy reading it. Again, I give her credit, because she is the creator of McFatty Monday. Anywho, she wrote a post about "it clicked" she said in her post when did it click for you. It really clicked for me when I have a whole closet of clothes that I miss and remember feeling good in. Also, reading Tiffany's progress on mom-nom.com. She has lost over 35 pounds in 10 weeks. Like wow! She is looking great.

So "It clicked" for me when I see people I know doing well with weightloss and health and even in my blogging friends. I love the fact that she has shared her challenges and her success along the way. She has been real about her fears and all of the goals that she has reached.

This last week was a challenge. Who doesn't love food and food in general. I do. I stuck to my plan and thank good for @Isagenix in showing me that I can be healthy again and in a natural way.

The next step - Fitness

"Don't bunt. Aim out of the ballpark."

- David Ogilvy

After completing 2 weeks of the cleanse. It's time to get that exercise in. Back to the gym I go. I'm excited that I can get back to the gym. When you start any kind of system, diet, cleanse, calorie counting it's easier to get your self on track with it first, stick to it and then add in the exercise. Then you are less likely to fail if you do it all at once. I was going to the gym daily before the cleanse, but stopped to get my body used to the new cleanse, supplements and overall life change.

Today, it's time to head back to the gym.

Goal: Gym 5 times a week 45 minutes minimum. (on my lunch)
         Yoga - once a week

Be sure to follow me on McFatty Monday's on my journey and feel free to join me if you are interested. Motivation and motivating each other is another key to success. I need all of your support and I'm willing to give you the support back.

Isagenix Week #1

Week #1 on Isagenix went a little something like this:

I've done this system before and I think the other times I wasn't as serious as I am now. I'm drinking water and peeing 9 times a day, maybe even more. I've decided to have a shake in the morning and for lunch so I can have my lean meal at home for dinner. Sometimes this has happened and other days not. It was my Birthday this last weekend (1/29) I did have ice cream cake and mashed potatoes. Oh well, shoot me. Also, I've been sick since sunday morning, so I've been drinking tea and cough drops and soups and no shakes for two days. I guess that's just what happens when you get sick.

I'm not falling off the bandwagon I'm still motivated and once I get this gunk out of my chest I will be back to it full time and at it. This week I'm going to be going back to the gym, hopefully 6 days a week. I go on my lunch so I don't have the temptation of going home and not removing myself from the house.

Like I said the shakes are amazing and the cleanse days are tough. Luckily only once a week. I choose to do them on a sunday, so I'm not killing myself at work and can relax or do something else to preoccupy my time with.

Weigh in this morning:  -7.3 pounds

Weight left too lose: 52.7

1st goal: January 30th - 10lbs Not Reached I'm down 7.3 lbs Not loosing hope. Hope to kick this cold.
2nd goal February 15th - 15lbs (Reward to myself: hair cut and new jeans)
3rd goal February 28th - 20lbs
4th goal March 15th - 30lbs

Daily Goals:
Gym - once a day 45 minutes minimum (Starting again this week)
Water - 8-9 glasses a day. Even if I have to force it. (It's been half and half the last 2 days with chest congestion)
No to: Coffee, soda (includes diet coke), juice. Just water for a week. Phew. I need a miracle. (I cup of coffee this weekend, eeks)

Once I get over this cold I will be going at it again and hardcore. I start the gym at the end of this week due to waiting to get this crap out of my chest.

The McFatty Journey

I was really hesitate on posting this post with you all. First of all, if you haven't noticed I post a lot of photos of Mack and Ian. Where o Where did the woman/mommy that writes these blog posts ever going to show up? The fact of the matter is I don't like myself. Especially in photos.... I mean I swear the demon electronic device with a flash, called a camera, alters you to make you look horrible. I swear it.

It's time for change. I recently watched a movie Eat.Pray.Love. Call me corny, sappy, or whatever word is coming to your minds.
Side note: I know there is one word you are all thinking of. If you are brave enough you can share the word you are thinking of below in the comments.

I'm not looking for love, got that taken care of and the stretch marks to prove it. I'm looking for a change in my life and a new balance for me. In the movie she eats and eats and basically doesn't care and wants to live. Well, i'm not saying I'm packing up and leaving tomorrow for Rome, India, and Bali.
p.s The hubs wouldn't be too happy if I left and walked out because then who is going to help pay for the snowmobile.
What I got out of that movie, reading in between the lines for once, is that it gave me some motivation to make a change in my life no matter what it is. Whether it is to pack up and leave for some.... mine is to get to the old healthy me. I want to be back at my pre-pregnancy weight.

I'm starting to do another cleanse. It's called Isagenix. You can check it out at Isagenix.com

It's a cleansing system using all natural products to cleanse your body and loose weight at the same time. Genius. I've done it before and I did it for 30 days and lost 15 or 16 lbs. After 30 days I was like heck let's party and let's just say 6 months later I'm looking back at the 15-16 lbs under my clothes again. What the eff!

I'm rambling... here is too the point!

How many of you heard cleanse and think you will shit your pants? Thanks for be brave person that is nodding their head. This isn't a colon cleanse. This is a whole body cleanse.

Shake Days: 6 days of the week - 2 shakes replace two meals and one lean and green meal of 400-600 calories.
Cleanse Days: Water, Cleansing powder to your water. If you are dying non-salted almonds, apple, carrots or celery to help you get through the day. The first cleanse day is rough. I mean rough, but they get easier.

Here it is my before picture... I was only brave enough because Tiffany from Mom-Nom.com did it and well if she can post a photo I can too.

Sorry. It's a bad one. I attempted to take it myself. haha

Proposed Weight loss: 60lbs

1st goal: January 30th - 10lbs
2nd goal February 15th - 15lbs
3rd goal February 28th - 20lbs
4th goal March 15th - 30lbs

Daily Goals:
Gym - once a day 45 minutes minimum
Water - 8-9 glasses a day. Even if I have to force it.
No to: Coffee, soda (includes diet coke), juice. Just water for a week. Phew. I need a miracle.

I know there are a few of my readers and some people at Mom-Nom.com that are following along and motivating each other to become healthier mom's and women. If you have any suggestions that has worked for... please, please tell me!

I'm opening this up to anyone that wants to join me in McFatty Monday... Credit to Heir to Blair for starting McFatty Monday's. Bless her. She has the cutest tot and family. Are you in? We can do this. I want to create a little network on MountainMum.com of people that want to get healthy. There will be no negative remarks just pure encouragement as we mama's put the doughnut down and get our life back. Plus, who wants to look hot this summer? We have time!

I'm going to need the encouragement of all of you and positive thoughts. We can do this and together. Who is with me?
